The CoOp-Series of Maps

Were made with the idea in Mind that there should be 2 vs. 4 Maps, to play with your friend against the Computer-Players. Actually this is only possible in "Impossible Creatures" not in "Insect Invasion". It is however possible with the new ANTS-MOD.

You can play with your best friend against the 4 computer players. My recommendation is, that you give the computer-players the same army you use yourself, or even a better one.

Human Players 1 + 2 against Computer Player 3 + 4 + 5 + 6

All CoOp-Series Maps can be played

  • 2 vs 4 or

  • Single-Player + 1 Computer Players aginst 4 Computer-Players

  • and all thinkable combinations of this.

The CoOp Map I

The heightfield shows the principle of the first "CoOp" Map. Two Players against 4 Computer-Players.

And to say it - this is one of my favourite maps (CoOp I).

The CoOp Map II

The second CoOp Map  is built on the "Islands priciple".

  • One Island with the two human players.(see picture below)
  • 4 Islands with computer players
  • in the middle an "coal Island"

The CoOp Map II

These are the two bases of the human players (P1 + P2). In the background you can see the computers Islands. This map needs water and amphibian creatures.

The CoOp Map III

CoOp Map III is based on the "Five castles Map". The two human players in the center of the map (see picture below). The 4 computer simulated opponents on the mountains around.

The CoOp Map III

This map needs some time. However if your team-mate is a computer, it won't be a big help maybe.

The CoOp Map IV

The CoOp IV Map was based on the bigmap 1024er. the rest is as with the other CoOp-Maps However do not try this map with a PC-System below 2400 MHz.

The CoOp Map IV

The CoOp IV Map was based on the bigmap 1024er. On this picture you can see the overall architecture. It was made using the WinRobots SME-AddOn.

The CoOp Map V

The CoOp Map V was mostly experimental. I did not play it often. This picture shows a heightfield.

The CoOp Map I

This is a in-Game Screenshot, where strong P1 + P2 forces (green + red) break through the computer-armies (blue, orang and violett).

The CoOp Map I

This is a in-Game Screenshoot, showing fences which prevent the computer simulated forces to enter the "bridge territory".

The CoOp Map I

This is another in-Game Screenshoot, showing the human forces entering the computer simulated opponents territory.

The CoOp Map I

This is another in-Game Screenshoot, showing that in the CoOp Maps the Computer Enemy has strong air defences from first moment.

This was done to prevent quick ending games by using heavy air-strikes. You can't defeat these anti air towers using flying intruders.

The CoOp Map IV

This is another in-Game Screenshoot.
